SAM ARTZ, PRESIDENT & PRINCIPAL DESIGNER
Sam’s initial passion for landscape design began at an early age when he worked with his dad in the family landscape firm. Sam’s 15 years of experience in high end residential landscape design has merited numerous national awards and a reputation for being one of the best in his field. His designs are specifically tailored to suit the client’s individual needs and are seamlessly tied to the architecture of the home to create a truly custom feel that is unique to the client. With a keen eye for detail and a commitment to client satisfaction, Sam founded Artz Landscape Designs to continue his pursuit of creating exquisite exterior spaces across the Dallas Metropolitan area.
MARK WEBB, SENIOR DESIGN DEVELOPMENT
Mark began his career in the arena of commercial development with such notable projects as Park West and The Crescent in downtown Dallas. From there, he moved into residential design gaining valuable experience in site inventory, project development, estimating and presentation/client contact. Mark has extensive experience in water shaping including residential pools, water features, fire features and outdoor living. This is where he garnered expert knowledge in working with homeowners, and coordinating with contractors and suppliers to achieve the clients overall vision. Currently, Mark oversees all design and development for the firm, including proportion, material selection, color theory and more.
JAY FARMER, SENIOR PROJECT MANAGER
Jay has over 30 years of combined experience in professional landscape installation and pool construction for residential and commercial clients. Initial experience was gained in the area of residential construction where notable projects earned him the highly distinguished 2017 NALP Grand Award. In addition to his background, Jay’s experience involves creating dramatic water features, fire features and outdoor living spaces. He enjoys working with homeowners and clients to attain satisfaction and see that their overall vision is captured.

Sam and team designed and installed my new front yard. The work included a new sidewalk and front porch, new beds with brick walls, grade, drainage, irrigation, and new sod. I worked with Sam on the design and he had great ideas and really kept things focused. The full renderings of the design gave me a lot of confidence in the vision.
